Hi Comp player here Versus Scout - ADADADADADADADADADADADAD Don't Jump is possible stay on the ground. Despite some believing jumping adds to their movement verses Scout that is false. One word Hitscan and can't adadada in air. Versus Soldier - Don't get hit by a rocket. If you get hit by a single rocket you're in grave danger. Stay in the air and use the environment. Try to always find high ground and make your double jumps less predictable against a good soldier. Versus Demo - Try to get the Jump on him. Demo is really good at map control and mid range dmg but also if he lands a pipe on you you're pretty much dead. Get up close thru flanks or have good movement to dodge the pipes and stickies. Definitely utilize your double jumps and you can also shoot the stickies that are planted on the ground. Versus Medic - Well done you are going to two shot them and definitely not miss all your shots and have the enemy team dive on you insta deleting you from existence. Anyways good job you team has ad now.

I won't advise using aim trainers that don't take movement into consideration, especially for a class like Scout. The best way to practice scout 1v1s in my opinion are MGE servers

Expectations: Kid begs for premium. Reality: Kid fakes mod and begs for premium.

i was on one of these servers and there was a kid who would not stop yelling, like complete earrape. he did it for a HOUR.

On sentries: try to see if you can corner peak or snipe the sentry with your pistol. If the engie is dead you can pretty reliably take down a sentry on your own with some practice. When it comes to corner peaking a sentry make sure you wait a second in between shots for the sentry to reset its aim otherwise it's gonna hit you every time you peak. (Also if you're a crazy person you can hop on top of a sentry and crouch circle-strafe while meatshotting it to destroy it...but that's the most situational method out there.)

How do I get those weapon animations?

I like the video but I disagree with the demoman point, demoman is very vulnerable to being rushed down (Which is what scout does best) because of the fact his stickies have an arm time and hitting a grenade on a scout is incredibly difficult at any range. Scout can easily close the distance and two shot a demoman with their large hitbox and sluggish movement. Of course if you allow the demoman to keep a distance between you, then you will struggle, but if you simply use your air mobility to close the distance so he can't hit you with any stickies he's frantically putting on the ground, it's usually an easy kill (Unless they're a god and hit two straight pipes in a row holy shit). Of course Demo will have the upper hand in close corridors but scout is usually always at a huge disadvantage against anything in close corridors, ESPECIALLY against explosive classes so if you're in that situation, there's just a problem with your positioning. Scout needs to patrol and stay in areas in which he's allowed to freely use his mobility as much as he can in order to be effective.

demoman explosives are not good at close range and demomans are slightly slower than average.
